Rates:

The minimum rental period is 24 hours. The hirer is allowed 2 hours grace period for returning the vehicle, after which he will be charged for an additional day.

There will be no half-day rate; the tariff rates are excluding fuel & sales tax..

Driving License:

Persons driving a vehicle must be over 25 years of age and should have held full license for minimum period of two years.

A Sixt representative should write names of the drivers on the rental agreement.

No additional driver is authorized to drive without the advance written approval of Sixt.

 Insurance coverage does not apply when unauthorized drivers drive the vehicle.

Terms of Payment:

An open and signed imprint of credit card will be taken at the start of the rental and will be kept as a deposit. At the end of the rental, payment can be settled either by credit or cash. If the driver incurs any traffic violations during the rental period it would be charged to the credit card number on receipt of traffic fine in addition to administration fee.

Insurance:

All vehicles are insured comprehensively in accordance with the low of A.R.E. in the event of an accident or damage to the vehicle, the hirer will be responsible for the first $ 350 (Excess insurance charge).

Insurance coverage does not apply if hirer is under the influence of alcohol or drugs at the time of the accident.

In such cases the hirer is liable to pay for all the damages, third party and the number of days the vehicle remains in the workshop for repair .

Accidents:

In the event of an accident or any damage to the vehicle including missing parts, the hirer must not remove the vehicle from the scene. The police should be informed immediately and a police report must be obtained from the police. No objection & for repairs will waiver the liability of the client for the accident. The Sixt service office should be notified to provide assistance. The hirer must hand over the police report to Sixt when returning the vehicle or when requesting the replacement to the vehicle.

 If Sixt receives no police report, the hirer will be responsible for all cost incurred as result of the accident or damage. The hirer should carry out no repairs and replacement of parts. In the event of a court case, Sixt will keep the signed credit card imprint open until the court has issued the final verdict by the hirer. The vehicles are not permitted to be driven out of the territory of the ARE.
