What is included:
Your online rental quotation will cover. Third Party Insurance, Damage and theft
Protection.
Third Party Liability Insurance:
The provision of third Party Insurance is a legal obligation, so we quote it in
the price.
Damage and Theft Protection Charges:
Damage Protection covers the cost of any repairs to damage on the vehicle caused
be yourself (but not on purpose) or a third party. Theft Protection covers the
cost of replacing the vehicle (or parts of it) should it be stolen. All drivers
are liable for damage deposit however,renter's responsibility in case of
accident will be $350 / event.
Additional Driver:
You may wish to share the driving with members of your family, friends and
colleagues. Our representatives do need to approve each driver and personally
check licenses.
What to do if you have an accident:
If you have an accident you must not admit responsibility. You should get the
names and addresses of everyone involved, including any witnesses. You should
also make the vehicle secure and tell the police straightaway if anyone is
injured or there is a disagreement over who is responsible. If the vehicle is in
a dangerous condition you must call our nearest branch or representative e
immediately. A further requirement is that you must fill in our accident report
from and return it to any of our locations.
Conditions of our damage protection program:
By signing the front of the contract you are accepting the conditions of our
damage protection and insurance program. we will not charge you the full cost
for damage to, or for the theft of our vehicle. You are only responsible for the
damage deposit amount noted on the front of this contract. However we can hold
you responsible for the full cost if the damage or theft has been caused by you
or an approved driver when,
- The vehicle has been used for an illegal purpose,
- The vehicle has been overloaded,
- Damage has been caused by hitting overhanging objects,
- The vehicle has been used for racing, speedtesting or teaching
someone to drive,
- The vehicle has been used for carrying fare-paying passengers,
- The vehicle has been used in a way that breaks other parts of
the contract as printed on the reverse of the rental contract,
- The vehicle has been used for a purpose for which you need an
operator's licence if you do not have one,
- The vehicle has been driven while the driver was under the
influence of alcohol or drugs or could reasonably have been
considered unfit to drive,
- You have not taken all reasonable care of the rented vehicle
when parking it or did not make sure that it is properly locked.
- You have used the wrong fuel for the vehicle
- The repair costs fall within your damage deposit amount.
